Wealth is what you save, not what you spend.

Want to be a millionaire? Here is a great article I read in yahoo finance about how to manage your money in a responsible way.

---->  How to become wealthy!!!

 On a side note, in a book I read called, "The Millionaire next door" it said over half the Millionaires in the world make under 100k a year.  CRAZY!   They are millionaires because they live well below their means and spend way less than they earn. The key to wealth is how much you save, not how much you spend!

Here are some of the highlights from the article:

Live below your means
Plan: That means plan for today, tomorrow and 30 years after retirement.
Diversify your investments:
Reduce use of credit and turn to cash: One of my BYU finance professors strongly believed in "if you cannot pay it off at the end of the month, it does not belong on your credit card."  Case in point, you cannot afford that item you are trying to charge!  Don't buy it until you can pay it off without being charged interest.  If you don't you are literately throwing away money!
Have access to cash:
Spread cash around:
Bring your children into the mix, and remember the importance of estate planning:

The safe way to double your money is to fold it over once and put it in your pocket.  ~Frank Hubbard
